Honey pepper roast ribs recipe, a feast
for the family to enjoy.
Ingredient
- Pork Ribs 1 rack about 600-700gm
- Honey 2 tbs
- Black pepper, roughly crushed 2 to 3
tbsp (to taste)
- Minced garlic 2 tbsp
- Light Soy Sauce or Chinese Braising
- Sauce 4 tbsp
Dark Soy Sauce 2 tbsp
- Salt to taste approx 1/2 tsp
Method
Wash rack of ribs and dry completely with kitchen towel.
Rub light and dark soy sauce all over the ribs and set aside
for 1/2 hour. Combine honey, black pepper, garlic and salt and
rub all over ribs and allow to marinate covered with cling wrap
for at least 3 hours or overnight in the fridge not freezer.
Heat oven to 180°C (375°F). Wrap ribs in foil and roast
for 30 mins. Remove foil and continue to roast for a further
10 minutes, turning over once to brown evenly.
Baste ribs with remaining leftover marinade every few minutes
to produce a golden brown colour and to keep them juicy.
Remove and serve with your favourite green salad or a baked
potato with all the trimmings.
